Creative brief
Ericsson launched a brand campaign to showcase its role in powering the future of connectivity. Four thematic concepts—Entertainment, Education, Sustainability, and Enterprise—formed the foundation of the campaign, each one highlighting how next-generation networks impact different aspects of modern life.
Designed initially for the UK market, the work needed to speak fluently across digital and physical platforms—from Instagram feeds to city-scale billboards—while holding visual consistency and thematic clarity. As the campaign expanded into European markets, the brief evolved to include versioning for multiple languages and formats, requiring a post-production approach that was both adaptable and exacting.
Our approach
Little Shadow collaborated with the production team to deliver high-quality VFX and compositing across all four campaign strands. Each theme featured a hybrid of live action, 3D animation, and 2D graphical elements—requiring careful integration and visual balance to maintain consistency across the series.
We handled complex compositing pipelines for each spot, matching digital assets to live-action plates with precision. For Entertainment, this meant integrating stylised overlays and light effects to match dynamic performance footage. For Education, it was about layering interface elements and animations that suggested interactivity and innovation. The Sustainability spot featured clean, aspirational visuals with delicate environmental effects, while Enterprise leaned into clarity and structure—sharp lines, spatial graphics, and motion-driven data cues.
With rollout planned across digital out of home (DOOH) and social media platforms, we designed outputs with scale and legibility in mind. Visual weight, animation timing, and hierarchy were adjusted based on format—from vertical social placements to large-format urban displays.
Once the campaign expanded into Europe, we delivered multiple international versions with adapted language overlays and adjustments for regional specifications. Our pipeline allowed us to manage these efficiently, ensuring consistency across every market.
The results
The campaign ran successfully across both digital and physical platforms throughout the UK and continental Europe. Little Shadow delivered over 60 format variants in multiple languages, blending technical delivery with creative consistency for a pan-European brand rollout.
