1000 Heads and Curious Productions approached Little Shadow to deliver a suite of short-form social media assets for Gordon’s Gin, one of the UK’s most recognisable spirits brands. The brief spanned multiple seasonal and promotional campaigns to create lively, eye-catching content that could cut through noisy timelines while staying true to Gordon’s instantly recognisable visual identity.
Each campaign had to meet the technical demands of diverse platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) while maintaining visual and brand consistency, no small feat across formats that included vertical, square, and widescreen specs.
Our approach
We developed a modular, flexible animation approach that blended live action footage with crisp 2D motion graphics, all designed to echo the brand’s clean, spirited aesthetic. This meant elegant typography, bright colour work, and stylised animated flourishes, from zest and bubbles to crisp transitions and branded product reveals.
Our team worked across multiple campaigns, adapting the creative to suit different aspect ratios and delivery specs. In each instance, we created animated templates that could be easily scaled or localised while maintaining the core creative tone.
We handled both technical versioning and creative execution, ensuring that each asset worked not just beautifully, but effectively, whether appearing as a 6-second pre-roll or a 15-second story ad. All motion was kept deliberately restrained and confident, in line with the tone of Gordon’s visual world.
The results
Multiple high-performing assets delivered across six campaigns, tailored for social formats and international use. The content contributed to Gordon’s ongoing brand visibility online, supporting product awareness with polished, platform-native animation and design.
