Little Shadow was approached by the incredible Photographer, Sebastian Novel to join him on an adventure to work on the Autumn/Winter Season visual content for the Royal Opera House.  Sebastian has the most wonderful eye for detail and composition with an imagination for design that is a joy to work alongside.  On this project the he worked on the key art and trailer, collaborating with the Royal Ballet & Opera.

For the Onegin trailer, our objective was to vividly capture the opera’s core theme of the protagonist’s shifting perspective through camera movements. Onegin is a romantic opera that delves into the complexities of young love and regret. It tells the story of Tatyana’s deep affection for Eugene Onegin, who later comes to regret his earlier rejection when their paths intersect again.Building on the trailer’s narrative, the key art was crafted akin to a film still, highlighting the poignant moment of Onegin’s reunion with Tatyana.

We were able to assist with VFX supervision on the shoot along with cleanups, set extensions and compositing.
